KisanAI, also known as Kisan Life (kisanai.life), is a farming and household record-management platform. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our website, installed web app and related services. It covers farming tools and records, not mental-health research.

Account and profile information: details you provide during login or profile setup, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred language and farming location. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the account information made available through that sign-in; we do not receive your Google password.

Records you enter: land and crop details, income, expenses, debts, repayments, assets, employee records, livestock and milk records, household budgets, business transactions, tasks and other information you choose to save.

Content you submit: questions sent to SARA, crop or animal photos, bill images, suggestions and support requests. Your requests may include relevant account records when you ask AI tools to answer questions about your own data.

Technical information: information needed to operate and protect the service, such as login and error logs, device/browser information and usage of AI tools. Weather and mandi tools may use the location or market you select. Voice input, when supported and permitted by you, is handled by your browser or device's speech service.

We use information to maintain your account, save and display your records, calculate totals and reports, provide farming tools and AI responses, retrieve weather and market information, respond to suggestions, and keep the service reliable and secure. Login logs and usage controls help prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information. Your private records are not intended to be available to other farmers. Authorized administrators may access information where necessary for support, operation or security.

SARA and tools such as Fasal Doctor, Pashu Doctor and Bill OCR process the questions, relevant records or images you submit through external AI services. Only use these tools with information you are comfortable submitting for that purpose. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary personal details.

Hosting, data storage, authentication, email/SMS delivery, weather, market data and AI providers may process information needed to deliver the service. Google sign-in and optional external services are also subject to their own privacy terms. Information may be processed outside India depending on the provider.

External links, advertisements or optional integrations, when enabled, may have separate privacy practices. We do not describe external providers' retention, training or tracking practices as guarantees under our control.

The app uses browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in, language, theme, preferences and installed-app functionality. These can remain on your device until you sign out or clear the relevant browser data.

Camera, microphone, photo/file access or device location are used only where supported and permitted by you for the feature you choose. You can manage permissions in your browser or device settings. Refusing a permission may prevent that particular feature from working.

We may disclose information to providers who help operate the service, when you request an export or authorize sharing, or where required by applicable law. Disclosure may also be necessary to investigate misuse or protect legal rights and safety, subject to applicable law.

Files you download, export or share leave the app's access controls. Protect backups and reports, especially when they include details about family members, employees or financial transactions. Public website photos and founder details are intended for public viewing, unlike private farming records.

We use access controls, authenticated accounts and other technical safeguards designed to limit unauthorized access to private records. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your sign-in account, sign out on shared devices and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account records are stored to provide the service. Retention can vary for operational logs, backups and external providers; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service.

You can edit or delete records where the app offers that option, and contact us to request account or personal-data deletion. Deletion requests may require identity verification and may be subject to lawful retention requirements. Clearing browser storage alone does not delete records saved in your account.

Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a privacy concern. You can use the app's available backup/export controls to obtain copies of your records.

Please provide only the details needed for your request. We may verify your identity before releasing or changing private information. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter personal information about other people.

The service is intended for people managing farming and household records. Do not submit a child's personal information without appropriate authority or consent where required by law. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been submitted improperly.

Updates will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date. Material changes may require further notice or consent where applicable law requires it.
